This recipe uses pre-prepared croissants, as being a breakfast dish, you probably won't have time to make them from scratch. However, if you want to make your own, simply bake and freeze and bring out of the freezer to defrost the night before.

2 ready made croissants
4 tbsp Nutella
4 tbsp. of dried fruit of your choice

  • Slice the croissant lengthways but do not cut all the way through to ensure that the top lifts like a lid.
  • Open the croissant and spread the Nutella thinly on the bottom. of the croissant.
  • Sprinkle the dried fruits, then close the croissant up.
  • When you have spread the Nutella onto the croissant, to give it a little more texture, you could add 1 tbsp dried fruit, apricots, raisins etc before you close it up and put in the oven
  • Place on a baking tray and warm gently in a medium oven for approx 2 minute, just to warm it through (be careful not to leave it too long as it will burn the top of the croissant)
  • Serve with a little Nutella drizzled over the top and to be extra naughty a dollop of thick yoghurt. Sensational!
