




I always find that this sauce is delicious with either pork or chicken as it really brings out the flavour of the meat.
Serves : 4 Prep/Cooking Time : 15 mins

Place the groundnut oil into a saucepan and heat up
Add the garlic, onion, ginger carrot, chillies and chili flakes and fry until softened
Add the water, rice vinegar, tomato ketchup, pineapple and the honey, bring to the boil and allow to simmer for 5-7 minutes
Add the cornflour and continue to simmer, stirring all the time until the sauce thickens. Either remove from the heat until your pork is cooked or pop in a container and keep in the fridge until you are ready to use
